How closely in time must a worn camera and a fixed camera agree?
Start with the event you need to compare across views. A capture brief should define acceptable timing error, how alignment will be checked and which parts of a session need both views.
Define timing requirements
Name the event to match: a foot contact, a ball strike or a change in direction. Specify whether your task needs individual frames aligned or only matching passages of play.
Check alignment throughout a session
Agree a synchronisation method before capture. Keep original timestamps and frame-rate information, record any dropped frames and check for clock drift across the session. State measured alignment error with the delivered recordings.
Agree spatial calibration separately
Matching timestamps does not put camera views into a shared coordinate system. If your task requires 3D positions across views, include camera calibration and a common spatial reference in your capture brief.
Availability
Synchronised ego + exo is a planned Onme capture format, coming soon. Capture configuration, timing tolerance and delivery requirements are agreed for each request; no sample or measured tolerance is offered on this page.
