Get in touch

How we handle what you send.

Draft. Our counsel is reviewing this page, and the wording will change.

What this site collects, who can see it, and how deletion works.

What the site collects

  • From the questions for labs or for athletes and teams: your answers, your email and who can sign.
  • From Get in touch: your first and last name, your email, what you wrote about your project and where you found us.
  • We no longer run a notify list for a version outside sport. If you joined it, we keep only your email, and you can ask us to delete it.

Counting visits

We count page opens, how often the For labs and For athletes and teams questions are opened, and sent forms, by day, in our own database. The counts hold no name, email or IP address, and counting sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. We keep the counts for 13 months.

When you send your answers to those questions, we keep two more things with them: the page where you arrived on this site, and the campaign tags (source, medium and campaign) of the link that brought you, if it had any.

What the site does not do

  • Load a third-party script before you interact with the page.
  • Send what you enter to advertising or analytics companies.
  • Store your IP address in readable form. We keep a keyed hash of it, only to limit repeated submissions.
  • Write your email, name, IP address or answers into our logs.
  • Put tracking pixels or tracked links in our emails.

Who can see submissions

Only our team, whichever form you use.

Deletion

We can delete a submission and its history when you ask. Ask through Get in touch, and say what you want removed or sent to you.
