Egocentric video
Video recorded from one athlete or driver's viewpoint.

A helmet camera on whitewater. Both hands, the paddle and the bow stay in view at close range, and the whole image swings with the wearer's head. Head direction is not gaze: where the eyes pointed needs eye-tracking cameras.
Public footage, not ONME data.

Capture facts
A worn camera records passing and finishing drills from the athlete’s view, while an in-car camera can record a track at the driver’s eye line.
Camera position and field of view determine which hands, objects and other people are visible.
What you receive
| View | What one athlete or driver sees, from a camera they wear or a camera at the driver's eye line |
|---|---|
| Cameras | Camera glasses, which record what an athlete sees hands-free; recording new sessions on them comes after our first partnerships. In motorsport, a fixed in-car camera at the driver's eye line. |
| Sessions | Drills and individual work, not contact play or matches. In motorsport, test days and race weekends where the series allows it. |
| With the video | In motorsport, a lab can ask for the car's logged channels |
| Labels | Unlabelled video, temporal labels (start and end times for named actions or phases), or participant and object tracks with timestamped events |
| Resolution, frame rate, annotation and delivery | Agreed per request |
| People on camera | Before footage reaches a lab, we blur the faces of people who have not signed consent and of anyone under 18. We remove audio unless the team and the athletes on camera agree to keep it. |
